About Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet

Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE 5) inhibitors primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in adult men. Additionally, Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet may also be used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs) in adults to improve the ability to exercise and to slow down clinical worsening.
 
Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, thereby allowing the blood to flow into the penis when the person is sexually excited. Thus, Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet helps treat erectile dysfunction. Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet relaxes the blood vessels, increases the blood supply to the lungs and reduces the workload of the heart. Thereby, treating pulmonary hypertension.
 
You are advised to take Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet may cause side effects such as headache, nausea, dizziness, indigestion and stomach upset. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
 
Do not take Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of the components or if you are taking nitrate medicines or riociguat (a drug used to treat pulmonary hypertension). Directions for Use

Tablet/Capsule: Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water as a whole. Do not crush, break or chew the tablet. Syrup/Suspension: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the prescribed dose using the measuring cup provided by the pack.Powder for oral suspension: Check the label for directions before use. Add the prescribed quantity of water to the powder, close the cap and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Take the prescribed dose using the dosing syringe.Sachet: Open the sachet and consume the entire contents.Orally disintegrating strip: Keep the strip in the mouth and allow it to disintegrate. Do not swallow as a whole. Avoid handling the strip with wet hands.Jelly: Place the jelly in the mouth or under the tongue and allow it to dissolve.Effervescent tablets: Check the label for directions and take it as advised by the doctor. Dissolve the effervescent tablet in half glass of water and consume the solution immediately.

Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, thereby allowing the blood to flow into the penis when the person is sexually excited.

No, do not take Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet with nitrates. Taking Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet with medicines used to treat angina/chest pain such as nitrates/nitroglycerin may cause severe lowering of blood pressure. Consult your doctor if you have a history of heart attack/stroke.

Caution is advised if Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet is taken with alpha-blockers or blood-pressure-lowering medicines. Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet relaxes and widens the blood vessels; this causes a decrease in blood pressure. Therefore, if Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet is taken along with blood-pressure-lowering medicines it might cause further lowering in blood pressure. Consult your doctor if you are taking alpha-blockers or anti-hypertensives.

In some cases, Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet may cause sudden vision loss in one or both eyes. Stop taking Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet and consult your doctor immediately if you experience a sudden decrease or loss of vision.

Penegra Pah 20mg Tablet may cause low blood pressure leading to dizziness on standing. If you experience this, do not try to stand up suddenly or start walking; instead, lie down and get up slowly only when you feel better.
