Ph4-O Mint Flavour Oral Suspension 200 ml is a combination of four drugs: Aluminium hydroxide, Magnesium hydroxide, Oxetacaine and Simethicone. Aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide belong to a group of antacids, whereas oxetacaine belongs to local anaesthetics. Aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide works by neutralising excess stomach acid. Oxetacaine exerts a numbing effect, thereby provides relief from pain due to ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach. Simethicone is anti-flatulent which works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitates the expulsion of gas through flatus or belching (burping).

Drug-Food Interaction: Avoid taking citrates along with Ph4-O Mint Flavour Oral Suspension 200 ml as it might lead to increased serum levels of aluminium. Avoid alcohol intake as it leads to increased production of stomach acid, thereby increases acidity and heartburn.
