Uses of Polisitol OD Tablet 10's

Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)

Medicinal Benefits

Polisitol OD Tablet 10's is used to treat the polycystic ovarian syndrome. It contains Cholecalciferol, Folic Acid and Inositol nicotinate. Cholecalciferol is an active form of Vitamin D. It helps in improving insulin resistance and exerts a protective effect on blood sugar, thereby easing the metabolic effects of PCOS. A Vitamin D deficiency has been linked to reduced fertility and cholecalciferol supplementation in Polisitol OD Tablet 10's helps counter the same.  Folic acid is an essential ingredient in the production of healthy red blood cells and is very effective in regulating menstruation, which tends to be dysregulated in PCOS. Inositol nicotinate regulates the levels of male sex hormones in the female body and enhances insulin sensitivity. All in all, Polisitol OD Tablet 10's helps in enhancing insulin sensitivity, reducing the symptoms of PCOS (such as facial hair, baldness, abnormal periods) due to a high level of circulating androgens and improving fertility.
