About Progivian 8.0% Vaginal Gel 1.125 gm

Progivian 8.0% Vaginal Gel 1.125 gm belongs to the class of medicines known as hormones used to treat female infertility and to aid pregnancy. It is also used to restore the menstrual cycle in women who have missed their periods. Progivian 8.0% Vaginal Gel 1.125 gm contains progesterone, a female hormone that regulates ovulation and menstruation in women. Progivian 8.0% Vaginal Gel 1.125 gm induces secretory changes in the endometrium lining of the uterus, relaxes the uterus, blocks the maturation and release of follicles and maintains pregnancy.

Use Progivian 8.0% Vaginal Gel 1.125 gm as directed by your doctor. It is intended for intra-vaginal use only. In some cases, Progivian 8.0% Vaginal Gel 1.125 gm may cause abdominal pain, headache, constipation, nausea, and breast pain/enlargement.
