About Psyvoxin-ER-100 Tablet

Psyvoxin-ER-100 Tablet belongs to the class of medications called antidepressants used to treat neurological diseases such as depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Depression is a mood disorder characterized by persistent feelings of sadness, loss, or anger. Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is the excessive thoughts that lead to repetitive behaviour.

Psyvoxin-ER-100 Tablet contains Fluvoxamine maleate, which is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). It increases the release of the serotonin hormone in the body, which is responsible for improving mood, cognition, and memory. Thereby, Psyvoxin-ER-100 Tablet helps improve mood and provides relief from the symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Take Psyvoxin-ER-100 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Psyvoxin-ER-100 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical conditions. You may experience common side effects like nausea, vomiting, nervousness, headache, dry mouth, indigestion, and loss of appetite. Most of these side effects of Psyvoxin-ER-100 Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

When Citalopram is taken with Psyvoxin-ER-100 Tablet it increase the blood levels of citalopram and also increase the risk of certain side effects, including an irregular heart rhythm

Do not stop Psyvoxin-ER-100 Tablet without your doctor's advice. Sudden discontinuation may lead to withdrawal symptoms such as nausea, insomnia, restlessness, and anxiety. Take Psyvoxin-ER-100 Tablet for as long as it has been prescribed. If you experience any difficulty, consult your doctor.
