Racnify Tablet

Racnify Tablet belongs to the class of 'nutritional supplements' that is used to treat acanthosis nigricans (dark discoloration in the body folds and creases), hirsutism (excessive growth of dark or coarse hair in women), psoriasis, skin tags, acne, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). It also helps cope with insulin resistance and hormonal imbalance, thereby improving components of Syndrome X. 

Racnify Tablet contains N-Acetylcysteine, Alpha Lipoic acid, Chromium picolinate, Inositol, and Zinc gluconate. It improves ovulation and hormonal balance in women suffering from PCOS and fertility issues. It is also beneficial in controlling blood sugar levels in PCOS by improving the utilization of insulin by the body. It also lightens the darkened skin and decreases sebum production.

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Racnify Tablet may have common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and dry mouth. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. 

Let your doctor know if you use any prescription and non-prescription medications, including other vitamins, before starting Racnify Tablet. It is essential to let your doctor know if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or are a breastfeeding mother. Racnify Tablet may affect your blood sugar levels altering your driving ability; hence do not drive or operate machinery until you feel better. It is not recommended to consume alcohol along with Racnify Tablet. Racnify Tablet is not recommended in children without a doctor's advice.

Racnify Tablet contains N-Acetylcysteine, Alpha Lipoic acid, Chromium picolinate, Inositol, and Zinc gluconate. N-Acetyl Cysteine acts as an antioxidant that prevents cell and tissue damage. It effectively enhances the activity of Inositol and improves the ovulation process. It is also effective in treating chest pain/angina. Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that prevents cell damage and restores vitamin levels in the body. Chromium polynicotinate keeps the skin young and healthy. It may lower fasting blood sugar, insulin levels, and blood fats in people with type 2 diabetes. Inositol is a vitamin (vitamin B8) like substance. It reduces blood glucose levels and improves the ovulation process in women with PCOS. Zinc gluconate is an antioxidant that has anti-inflammatory properties and decreases sebum production. It is also useful in generating cell growth, which helps the darkened skin fade.

• Keep your stress in check with yoga and meditation. 
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption to maintain your skin healthy.
• If your skin discolouration is due to being overweight, losing those extra kilos can help lighten the skin again.
• Eat a low-fat diet and eliminate fat and skin from the meat.
• Avoid excessively fried foods like French fries and chips. If you still crave those, try having them baked.
• Improve physical activity and include any exercise for some time in your daily schedule.
• Include turmeric, omega fatty acids, vitamin D and calcium-enriched foods, green vegetables in your diet.

• Timely abdominal ultrasound scanning is recommended to monitor your PCOS condition. Your doctor may also advise on hormonal profile.
• Try to know the underlying reason for your acanthosis nigricans and get it treated by your doctor. This helps the condition to fade away permanently.

Acanthosis nigricans: A skin condition characterized by dark discoloration in the body folds and creases like behind the neck, armpits, knuckles, and groins. Symptoms include dark and velvety patches in the body folds. This condition may be caused due to overweight and changes in hormonal levels. 

Acne vulgaris (acne): It is a skin condition caused when the hair follicles are plugged with oil and dead skin cells. Whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, cysts, and nodules are all types of acne. 

Polycystic ovary/ovarian syndrome: It is a hormonal disorder that causes enlarged ovaries with numerous small follicles. Women with PCOS produce higher levels of male hormones than usual. This hormonal imbalance can lead to irregularity in the menstrual cycle and problems in getting pregnant. Symptoms include irregular periods, excess hair growth, acne, and obesity. 

Syndrome X: It is an inflammatory condition that constitutes a group of problems, such as insulin resistance, glucose intolerance, hypertension, obesity, atherosclerosis, and dyslipidemia (high cholesterol).
