SINAREST NASAL SPRAY ADULT 10ML belongs to the class of medications called 'nasal decongestants' primarily used to treat nasal congestion due to cold, upper respiratory allergies, or sinusitis. Nasal congestion, also known as stuffy nose occurs when nasal passages become swollen with excess mucus and fluid.
SINAREST NASAL SPRAY ADULT 10ML is a combination of two drugs: Oxymetazoline (decongestant) and Sorbitol (moisturizing agent). Oxymetazoline belongs to the class of nasal decongestants that work by contracting and narrowing the blood vessels in the nasal passage's linings. Thereby, providing relief from congestion and decreasing mucus production. Sorbitol is a moisturizing agent that reduces irritation and dryness in the nose and provides a soothing effect.
