About Sisocin Eye Drop

Sisocin Eye Drop belongs to the group of antibiotic medicines called aminoglycosides used to treat bacterial infections of the eye, such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, and blepharitis. Bacterial eye infection occurs when harmful bacteria invade any part of the eye, such as the eyeball, conjunctiva, or cornea. 
 
Sisocin Eye Drop contains Sisomicin, which works by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria and preventing their growth. Thereby, Sisocin Eye Drop helps in treating bacterial infection of the eye.
 
In some cases, Sisocin Eye Drop may cause side effects such as a burning sensation and itching. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Uses of Sisocin Eye Drop

Bacterial eye infections

Directions for Use

Eye drops: Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of drops advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
Eye cream/ointment/gel: Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Squeeze a tiny amount of the cream/ointment/gel into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
