Sofinox Cream 30gm belongs to the group of medicines called ‘antibiotics’ used to treat bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, infected cuts and abrasions, infected eczema and contact dermatitis. 
 
Sofinox Cream 30gm contains ‘Sodium fusidate’ that works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for the survival of the bacteria. Thereby, Sofinox Cream 30gm helps in treating skin infections.
 
Sofinox Cream 30gm is generally well-tolerated. However, it may cause mild stinging sensation and irritation in some cases. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. If the side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
 
Do not use Sofinox Cream 30gm if you are allergic to any of its components. Consult your doctor before using Sofinox Cream 30gm if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid contact of Sofinox Cream 30gm with eyes, nose or mouth; if contact occurs accidentally, rinse thoroughly with water.

Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. If your condition does not improve despite using Sofinox Cream 30gm for a few days, consult your doctor. Let your doctor know if you are taking any prescription/non-prescription medicines, including supplements or herbal products.

• Eat foods rich in quercetin (a flavonoid), such as apples, cherries, broccoli, spinach and blueberries.
• Consuming food rich in probiotics helps in developing the immune system against allergies.
• Avoid the consumption of foods with excess sugar, as it may flare up inflammation.
• Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats and fish in your diet.
• Reducing stress and maintaining a good sleep cycle would be helpful.
• Avoid getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents and rough fabrics.

• Do not use Sofinox Cream 30gm on dressing, band-aids and make-up unless told by the doctor.
• If Sofinox Cream 30gm comes in contact with eyes, nose or mouth, rinse with water immediately.
• Wash your hands before and after using Sofinox Cream 30gm; however, do not wash your hands if you are applying Sofinox Cream 30gm on your hands.
