Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet belongs to the class of medications called 'non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID)' used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, muscle pain, tooth pain, bone, joint pain, headache, and period pain. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, causing uncomfortable sensations in the body. Muscle spasm is the sudden involuntary contractions of the muscle, which can be painful and uncomfortable.
 
Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet contains Tizanidine (muscle relaxant), Aceclofenac (pain killer), and Paracetamol (mild analgesic and fever reducer). Tizanidine works on the brain's centres, thereby helping to relieve muscle stiffness and improve muscle movements. Aceclofenac and Paracetamol work by blocking chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Together, Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet helps in relieving pain due to muscle spasms.
 
You are advised to take Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, heartburn, and diarrhoea. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
 
Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet may cause drowsiness and dizziness, so drive with caution. Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet should not be given to children as safety and efficacy have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol as it may cause increased drowsiness, dizziness and increased risk of stomach bleeding. Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet is a combination of three drugs, namely: Tizanidine, Aceclofenac, and Paracetamol. Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, muscle pain, tooth pain, bone and joint pain, headache, and period pain. Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant which works on the centres of the spinal cord and brain. This helps relieve muscle stiffness and improves muscle movements. Aceclofenac and Paracetamol are analgesics which work by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make other chemical prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are produced at injury sites and cause pain and swelling. By blocking the COX enzymes' effect, lesser prostaglandins are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Together, Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet helps in relieving pain and fever due to muscle spasms.

Do not take Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of its contents; if you have/had severe heart problems, stomach ulcer or perforation, and bleeding problems such as bleeding from the stomach, intestine or brain, bypass surgery, heart attack, blood circulation problems, or inflammation of intestines. Inform your doctor if you have or had high blood pressure, heart problems, high cholesterol, diabetes, asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, liver and kidney problems. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet may cause drowsiness and dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet is not recommended for children as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet as it could lead to increased drowsiness and can increase the risk of stomach bleeding. Stop taking Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet and consult your doctor immediately if you have stomach pain or any signs of bleeding in the intestine or stomach, such as blood in stools. Do not take any other NSAIDs for pain relief along with Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet unless prescribed.

• Exercising regularly helps in muscle stretching so that they are less likely to spasm, tear and sprain. Mild exercises such as jogging and walking are helpful for muscle stretching.
• Massages can also be helpful.
• Avoid freezing and hot temperatures.
• Avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes, instead, wear loose garments.
• Rest well, get plenty of sleep.
• To avoid developing pressure sores, change your position at least every two hours.
• Hot or cold therapy can help treat muscle spasms. Apply an ice-pack or hot-pack on the muscle for 15-20minutes.
• Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water.

• Stop taking Spiace T 100mg/325mg/2mg Tablet if you experience stomach discomfort or heartburn, vomiting blood or passing black stools, skin troubles such as rash or itching, wheezing or shortness of breath, or yellowing of your skin or the whites of your eyes.
