Sporofine 2% Gel belongs to the group of medicines called anti-fungal agents used to treat fungal skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection.
 
Sporofine 2% Gel contains Naftifine, which works by stopping the growth of fungi that cause skin infections. Thereby, it helps treat fungal skin infections.
 
In some cases, Sporofine 2% Gel may cause side effects such as burning, redness, irritation, or itching at the site of application. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, consult a doctor.

Sporofine 2% Gel contains Naftifine, which works by stopping the growth of fungi that cause skin infections. Thereby, it helps treat fungal skin infections.

Do not use Sporofine 2% Gel if you are allergic to any of its components. Sporofine 2% Gel is for external use only; do not swallow it. Avoid contact with the mouth, nose, and eyes. In case of accidental contact, wash the area thoroughly with water and inform your doctor for further treatment. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Let the doctor know if you are using any other medicines, including supplements and herbal products. 

• Regularly change your socks and wash your feet. Avoid shoes that make your feet sweaty and hot.
• In wet places such as changing rooms and gym showers, avoid walking barefoot to prevent fungal infections.
• Do not scratch the affected area of the skin, as it can spread the infection to other body parts.
• Avoid sharing towels, combs, bedsheets, shoes, or socks with others.
• Wash your bedsheets and towels regularly.
• Avoid getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents, and rough fabrics.

Wash your hands before and after using Sporofine 2% Gel; however, do not wash your hands if you are applying Sporofine 2% Gel on your hands.
