Pain and fever are caused by the activation of pain receptors due to the release of certain natural chemicals in the body like prostaglandins. 

Supposits P-170 Suppositories 2X5's contains 'Paracetamol' which prevents the release of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation. Thus, relieves pain. Supposits P-170 Suppositories 2X5's also acts as an antipyretic agent by affecting the chemical messengers in the brain that regulate body temperature. Thereby, reduces fever.
