Tendocis Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called 'nutritional supplements' used to treat joint problems. Tendocis Tablet is recommended for the maintenance of joints, muscles, cartilage, the integrity of joints, bone health, joint pain, arthritic pain, stiffness, low back pain, tendonitis or tendinopathy (tendon pain). Joint pain refers to the discomfort, pain, stiffness and soreness in the joints. 

Tendocis Tablet contains Collagen, Sodium hyaluronate, Chondroitin sulphate, and Ascorbic acid. Collagen helps regenerate cartilage, thereby providing strength to the bones and improving joints' flexibility. Sodium hyaluronate is similar to the joints' fluid; this acts as a lubricant in the joints and prevents friction between the joints. Chondroitin sulphate prevents the breakdown of collagen tissue of the joints. Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) acts as an antioxidant that helps the synthesis of new collagen fibres, new blood vessel formation and promotes healing at the joint site. Together, Tendocis Tablet relieve pain and stiffness in the joints. 

You are advised to take Tendocis Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as heartburn, stomach pain, headache, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.

Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tendocis Tablet is not recommended for children as safety and effectiveness have not been established. It is unknown if Tendocis Tablet alters your driving ability; however, drive or operate machinery only if you are alert. Consult your doctor before consuming alcohol along with Tendocis Tablet . • Physical activity helps in strengthening muscles and relieves joint stiffness. Gentle activities like 20-30minutes of walking or swimming would be helpful.
• Performing yoga may also help in improving joint flexibility and pain management.
• Maintain a healthy weight by performing regular low-strain exercises and eating healthy food.
• Get adequate sleep, as resting the muscles can help reduce inflammation and swelling.
• De-stress yourself by meditating, reading books, taking a warm bubble bath or listening to soothing music.
• Acupuncture, massage and physical therapy may also be helpful.
• Eat food rich in antioxidants such as berries, spinach, kidney beans, dark chocolate, etc.
• Foods containing flavonoids help in reducing inflammation. These include soy, berries, broccoli, grapes and green tea.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
