Tipgenta 40mg Injection belongs to the class of 'antibiotics', primarily used to treat serious bacterial infections. Bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria grow in the body and causes illness. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. 

Tipgenta 40mg Injection is composed of Gentamicin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It prevents bacteria from synthesising essential proteins required to carry out vital functions. It has broad-spectrum activity against aerobic gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. 

Tipgenta 40mg Injection will be administered by a healthcare professional. Tipgenta 40mg Injection may cause a few side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common side effects of Tipgenta 40mg Injection include stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, weight loss, light-headedness, headache, mood changes, joint pain, itching or rash, pain and swelling at the injection site. Tipgenta 40mg Injection is an antibiotic that treats severe/serious bacterial infections. It contains Gentamicin which works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thus inhibiting bacterial growth.
