Tolaz LA 405mg/vial Convenience Kit belongs to a group of medicines called 'atypical antipsychotics,' primarily used to treat schizophrenia and manic or mixed episodes of bipolar I disorder. Schizophrenia is a mental condition in which you may feel, hear or see things that are not there (hallucinations), believe things that are not true, and feel unusually suspicious or confused. Bipolar I disorder is a serious brain disorder where you experience extreme mood swings (variance in thinking) and frequent mood and behaviour changes.

Tolaz LA 405mg/vial Convenience Kit contains 'Olanzapine' that works by restoring the balance of chemical messengers in the brain and improves thinking mood, and behaviour. Tolaz LA 405mg/vial Convenience Kit improves mental clarity and lessens hallucinations. It is used to treat schizophrenia-related agitation and the manic phases of bipolar disorder.

Tolaz LA 405mg/vial Convenience Kit will be administered by a health care professional; do not self-administer. Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, stomach pain, back pain, runny/stuffy nose, cough, increased appetite, weight gain, and redness/pain/swelling at the injection site. These side effects are not common for everyone. If you notice any side effects that are not manageable, please consult your doctor. 

Tolaz LA 405mg/vial Convenience Kit is not recommended for treatment in patients with Dementia-Related Psychosis.
