Topmag Plus Tablet 10's belongs to the class of 'nutritional supplements', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It is used to treat and prevent low blood calcium levels, folate deficiency, and vitamin B12 deficiency. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss).
Topmag Plus Tablet 10's contains Magnesium oxide, Vitamin K2 (Menaquinone), Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol), Folic acid, and Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12/Mecobalamin). Magnesium oxide is a mineral that maintains the normal functioning of muscles and nerves. Menaquinone/Vitamin K2 helps maintain bone density by promoting calcium transport from the bloodstream into the bone. Cholecalciferol helps maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and mineralization of bone. Folic acid helps form red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Methylcobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.
Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Topmag Plus Tablet 10's may have common side effects like stomach upset, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, and constipation. Most of these side effects of Topmag Plus Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.
