Trigabantin 300 Tablet 10's is a combination medicine used to treat neuropathic pain. Neuropathic pain is a chronic progressive nerve disease that causes nerve pain due to damaged sensory nerves. Symptoms include spontaneous, untriggered pain, unpleasant feeling, shooting, burning or stabbing pain, difficulty resting or sleeping and evoked pain (pain caused by events that are usually not painful). Trigabantin 300 Tablet 10's contains Gabapentin (anti-convulsant), mecobalamin (vitamin B12), and alpha-lipoic acid (antioxidant). Gabapentin modulates the calcium channel activity of the brain cells, thereby decreasing pain. Mecobalamin helps rejuvenate and protect damaged nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin. Alpha-lipoic acid helps provide a protective effect on the nerve tissues and the brain. Together, Trigabantin 300 Tablet 10's helps provide relief from neuropathic pain caused due to nerve damage and other neurological disorders. 
 
Take Trigabantin 300 Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as dizziness, sleepiness, tiredness, nausea and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not take Trigabantin 300 Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its contents. Consult your doctor if you are on haemodialysis and experience muscle pain or weakness, persistent stomach pain, nausea or vomiting. Close monitoring for suicidal thoughts/behaviour is required for people using Trigabantin 300 Tablet 10's.
