Psoriasis is a skin condition in which skin cells multiply up to 10 times faster than usual, leading to skin build-up into bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales. Seborrheic dermatitis is a skin condition which causes an itchy rash with flaky scales.
 
Tripletop Ointment 30gm is a combination of three medicines: Clobetasol, Coal tar, and Salicylic acid. Clobetasol works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Coal tar and salicylic acid help break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells, and soften the skin. Together, Tripletop Ointment 30gm helps in treating psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis.
 
You are advised to use Tripletop Ointment 30gm for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as burning sensation, irritation, itching and redness at the site of application. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
 
Do not use Tripletop Ointment 30gm if you had a skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine. Consult your doctor before using Tripletop Ointment 30gm if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Tripletop Ointment 30gm in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration, as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. Do not apply Tripletop Ointment 30gm on children’s skin unless prescribed by the doctor.

Inform your doctor if you have/had skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine; if you have glaucoma, diabetes, adrenal gland disorder, lupus, sensitivity of the skin to light, kidney or liver disease. Consult your doctor before using Tripletop Ointment 30gm if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Tripletop Ointment 30gm in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration, as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. Tripletop Ointment 30gm should be used with caution in children if prescribed by the doctor.

• Consume antioxidant-rich spices and herbs like cumin, ginger, sage, and thyme.
• Avoid processed foods, refined sugars, and fatty foods.
• Limit food intake that might trigger allergies, such as dairy products, soy, eggs, and nuts.
• Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and fish in your diet.
• Reducing stress and maintaining a good sleep cycle would be helpful.
• Avoiding getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents, and rough fabrics.

• Clean and dry the affected area before using Tripletop Ointment 30gm.
• Do not use Tripletop Ointment 30gm on dressing, band-aids, and make-up unless told by the doctor.
• If Tripletop Ointment 30gm comes in contact with eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse with water immediately.
• Wash your hands before and after using Tripletop Ointment 30gm. However, do not wash your hands if you are applying Tripletop Ointment 30gm on your hands.
• Do not apply Tripletop Ointment 30gm on wounds, cuts, damaged skin, or scrapes.
