About Troycobal LC Tablet

Troycobal LC Tablet belongs to the class of 'nutritional supplements' primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies due to various complications or long-term diseases. A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body does not absorb or get enough nutrients from food. Nutrient deficiency can lead to many health problems like a weakened immune system, skin problems, digestion problems, defective bone growth, and neurological diseases.

Troycobal LC Tablet contains Folic acid, L-carnitine L-tartrate, and Methylcobalamin. Folic acid (vitamin B9) replenishes the deficient folic acid in the body. It helps in the production of healthy red blood cells and DNA. L-carnitine L-tartrate is an amino acid derivative that helps the body turn fat into energy. Methylcobalamin (a form of vitamin B12) regulates body functions like cell growth, blood formation, and protein synthesis. It also prevents nerve damage by forming a protective layer (myelin) around the nerves.

Take Troycobal LC Tablet as suggested. The common side-effects of Troycobal LC Tablet are diarrhoea, nausea (feeling sick), and vomiting. These side effects are mild and usually do not require medical attention. However, inform your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen.

Do not take Troycobal LC Tablet if you are allergic to any of its contents. Before taking Troycobal LC Tablet , inform your doctor if you are taking any suggested, non-suggested medicines, herbal products, or dietary supplements. Inform your doctor if you have malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food), cancer, kidney dialysis, optic nerve damage, hypokalemia (low potassium levels in the blood), and stent in the heart. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Do not use Troycobal LC Tablet if you are allergic to any of its contents. Let your doctor know if you have a history of seizures (fits), liver disease, kidney disease, cancer, obesity, hypokalemia, optic nerve damage, or diabetes before using Troycobal LC Tablet . Please inform your doctor if you are using any suggested and non-suggested medications, including vitamins, and herbal supplements. Do not take Troycobal LC Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless suggested by the doctor. Do not take antacids before or after 2 hours of taking Troycobal LC Tablet as they may interfere with the action of Troycobal LC Tablet . 

Diet & Lifestyle Advise

  • Try Vitamin B complex food sources like milk, cheese, eggs, chicken, red meat, tuna, mackerel, salmon, shellfish, oysters, clams, dark green vegetables such as spinach and kale, beetroot, avocados, potatoes, whole grains, cereals, kidney beans, black beans, and chickpea.
  • Include fruits like citrus, banana, and watermelon in your diet.
  • Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
  • Exercise regularly, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Avoid excess fatty foods.

Folic acid deficiency occurs when there is inadequate folic acid in the body. You can overcome this deficiency by taking whole-grain foods, and vegetables such as spinach, brussels sprouts, cabbage, broccoli, peas, lentils, and oranges, which are good sources of folic acid.

Troycobal LC Tablet may cause headache as a mild and temporary side effect. However, if the condition persists or worsens, please consult a doctor.
