Drug Interactions

Drug-Drug Interaction: Ucalcium Tablet 15's may interact with antacids, antibiotics (ceftriaxone, penicillamine), heart-related medicines (digoxin), HIV/AIDS medicines (dolutegravir), hormones (levothyroxine), anti-cancer drugs (cisplatin), fits medicines (gabapentin), water-pills, high blood pressure medicines (verapamil), and Parkinson's medicines (Levodopa,).

Drug-Food Interaction: Avoid or reduce the intake of caffeine, soft drinks and alcohol as they may inhibit calcium absorption.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Ucalcium Tablet 15's is not recommended in hypercalcaemia, hypervitaminosis D, and Vitamin D toxicity. Please consult your doctor for more advice.

  • Replace the meat with tofu or tempeh for extra calcium in your food.
