Ultrafolin Tablet 10's belongs to the class of 'nutritional supplements', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It is used to treat and prevent niacin deficiency (pellagra), folate deficiency, and vitamin B12 deficiency. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss).
Ultrafolin Tablet 10's contains Folic acid, Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin/Mecobalamin), and Nicotinamide (vitamin B3). Folic acid is the synthetic form of folate. Folate is a water-soluble Vitamin B naturally found in food sources. It helps in the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Vitamin B12 regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. Nicotinamide (also known as Niacinamide) is a form of vitamin B3 (niacin). It helps in replenishing the energy in the body cells and provides essential nutrients.
Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Ultrafolin Tablet 10's may have common side effects like nausea, upset stomach, and diarrhoea. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please reach out to your doctor.
Let your doctor know if you use any other medicines and herbal products before starting Ultrafolin Tablet 10's. If you are allergic to Ultrafolin Tablet 10's or its inactive components, please inform your doctor. If you are a pregnant or breastfeeding mother, please consult your doctor before taking Ultrafolin Tablet 10's. Ultrafolin Tablet 10's does not interfere with your driving ability.
