About ULVIN-500MG TABLETS
ULVIN-500MG TABLETS belongs to a class of drugs called antifungals used to treat fungal infections of the skin like ringworm, jock itch, athlete’s foot, and fungal infections of nails and hair. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another).
ULVIN-500MG TABLETS contains Griseofulvin which works by binding to the keratin (a protein that is formed in the cells of the skin, hair follicles, and nail bed) and inhibits the growth and multiplication of fungal cells. Thereby, it prevents newly grown keratin from being infected by fungal cells. The infected keratin dies and sheds from the body leaving new healthy keratin.
Take ULVIN-500MG TABLETS as prescribed. Your doctor will advise you on how often you need to take ULVIN-500MG TABLETS based on your medical condition. Some people may experience nausea, diarrhoea, headache, and discomfort in the stomach. Most of these side effects of ULVIN-500MG TABLETS do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

When Ranolazine is taken with Ulvin-500 Tablet, may significantly reduce the blood levels of Ranolazine, which may make the medication ineffective or less effective.

When Everolimus is taken with Ulvin-500 Tablet, it may decrease the blood levels of everolimus, which may make everolimus less effective in treating the condition.
