About UV Lube Unims Eye Drop

UV Lube Unims Eye Drop belongs to the class of 'ophthalmic lubricants' used to treat dry eyes syndrome. Dry eyes syndrome is a disorder of the tear film of the eye that leads to the deficiency of tears or extreme evaporation of the tears causing damage to the ocular surface.

UV Lube Unims Eye Drop is composed of Chloroquine, a topical lubricant. It works by restoring the tear formation in dry eyes. It also relieves foreign body sensation, burning sensation, and itching of the eyes. It further reduces inflammation and maintains ocular surface stability.

UV Lube Unims Eye Drop is for ophthalmic (for the eye) use only. Common side effects of UV Lube Unims Eye Drop include eye irritation and temporary blurry vision. These side effects will gradually resolve over time and may not occur in every patient using this medication. If the side effects persist or worsen, please seek a doctor's advice.

Uses of UV Lube Unims Eye Drop

Directions for Use

Tilt your head back and pull your lower eyelid downwards and outwards. Gently squeeze the dropper and instil the eye drops in the eye/eyes. Blink a few times to spread the medication inside your eye.

It is advised to remove your contact lens while using UV Lube Unims Eye Drop . Also, remember to wash your hands before and after using the eye drops to avoid contamination.

If you use other eye ointments/drops along with UV Lube Unims Eye Drop , it is advised to maintain a gap of at least 5-10 minutes after each administration. Also, use eye drops before applying any eye ointments.
