About Uv-Lube Unims Eye Drops (Box)

Uv-Lube Unims Eye Drops (Box) belongs to the class of 'ophthalmic lubricants' used to treat dry eyes syndrome. Dry eyes syndrome is a disorder of the tear film of the eye that leads to the deficiency of tears or extreme evaporation of the tears causing damage to the ocular surface.

Uv-Lube Unims Eye Drops (Box) is composed of Chloroquine, a topical lubricant. It works by restoring the tear formation in dry eyes. It also relieves foreign body sensation, burning sensation, and itching of the eyes. It further reduces inflammation and maintains ocular surface stability.

Uv-Lube Unims Eye Drops (Box) is for ophthalmic (for the eye) use only. Common side effects of Uv-Lube Unims Eye Drops (Box) include eye irritation and temporary blurry vision. Tilt your head back and pull your lower eyelid downwards and outwards. Gently squeeze the dropper and instil the eye drops in the eye/eyes. Blink a few times to spread the medication inside your eye.
