Vaginal infection occurs at the vagina and tissues at the opening of the vagina. This condition can cause inflammation, intense itchiness, and a thick, white discharge from the vagina. Vaginal infection caused by bacteria, yeast, and trichomoniasis.

Vaginobact Tablet 10's is a combination of three drugs, namely: Azithromycin (antibiotic), Fluconazole (antifungal), and Ornidazole (antiprotozoal). Azithromycin stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. The fungal cell membranes are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stops the leakage of cell contents. Fluconazole belongs to the class of antifungals that works by damaging the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi. Ornidazole belongs to the class of antiprotozoals that works by damaging the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria and protozoa and inhibits the formation of new DNA. In some cases, you may experience taste change, vomiting, headache, dizziness, stomach pain, nausea, indigestion, diarrhoea, loss of appetite. • Take Probiotic supplements like yoghurt in your regular diet.
• Wearing loose-fitting clothing and cotton underwear
• Avoiding tight jeans and pantyhose, as yeast thrives in moist and warm environments
• Changing out of wet swimwear or gym clothing, as soon as possible
• Avoiding vaginal sprays, perfumes, and lotions, which can irritate the vagina and cause an imbalance of bacteria and yeast
• Drying the genital area thoroughly after showering or bathing
• Reducing sugar consumption, as yeast feeds on sugar
• Avoiding douching.

• Avoid consuming alcohol while taking medication as it may cause increased side effects.
• Vaginobact Tablet 10's causes diarrhea as a side effect. So drink plenty of fluids.
• Vaginobact Tablet 10's must be taken at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after the antacids.
