About Verquvo 2.5 mg Tablet

Verquvo 2.5 mg Tablet belongs to the class of medications called soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) stimulators. It is used to reduce the risk of death and the need for hospitalization in adults with heart failure. Heart failure is a condition in which the heart is unable to pump blood as effectively as it should.

Verquvo 2.5 mg Tablet contains Vericiguat, which works by relaxing the blood vessels in the lungs to allow blood to flow easily.

Use Verquvo 2.5 mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by the healthcare professional. Sometimes, Verquvo 2.5 mg Tablet may cause hypotension, anaemia, dizziness and light-headedness. Most of these side effects are temporary, do not require medical attention, and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor.

It is primarily used in adults who have symptoms of chronic (long-term) heart failure, have recently been hospitalized or require intravenous (IV) medications, and have an ejection fraction (amount of blood pumped with each heartbeat of less than 45 per cent) to reduce the risk of death and the need to be hospitalized. Vericiguat works by relaxing the blood vessels in the lungs to allow blood to flow easily.
