Vetrol-DT Tablet 15's belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAID) indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute postoperative pain. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, which causes uncomfortable sensations in the body.
Vetrol-DT Tablet 15's contains 'ketorolac tromethamine', which works by inhibiting the synthesis of certain chemical messengers in the body, such as prostaglandins which are responsible for causing pain and inflammation. Thereby, Vetrol-DT Tablet 15's helps provide relief from pain.
In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhoea, constipation, gas, and dizziness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
Avoid taking Vetrol-DT Tablet 15's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Vetrol-DT Tablet 15's should not be given to children below 16 years as safety and efficacy have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol with Vetrol-DT Tablet 15's as it could lead to increased dizziness; it might also increase the risk of stomach bleeding. Inform your doctor if you have or had high blood pressure, heart problems, high cholesterol, diabetes, asthma, liver and kidney problems. Avoid taking Vetrol-DT Tablet 15's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Vetrol-DT Tablet 15's may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert.
