WALYTE CITRO POWDER helps in replacing the fluids and minerals lost due to vomiting or diarrhoea. Thereby, helps in treating and preventing dehydration.

WALYTE CITRO POWDER may increase the risk of hyperkalemia (high level of potassium in the blood). WALYTE CITRO POWDER should be avoided in patients with or at risk for hyperkalemia.

WALYTE CITRO POWDER should be used with caution in patients with impaired glucose tolerance. Regular monitoring of blood sugar levels is advised.

The risk for hyponatremia is increased in elderly, paediatric patients, postoperative patients and patients who are taking drugs which may increase the risk of hyponatremia. Close clinical monitoring in such patients is advised.

Consult your doctor before taking corticosteroids or corticotropin as it may increase the risk of sodium fluid retention.
