X-Mont LC Kid Tablet DT is an anti-allergic medicine containing Montelukast and Levocetirizine. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist, which blocks a chemical messenger (leukotriene) and reduces inflammation and swelling in the nose. Levocetirizine works by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger called ‘histamine. This chemical messenger is naturally involved in allergic reactions. Together, this medicine helps to relieve discomfort and unpleasant symptoms, like blocked/runny/itchy nose, and red/watery eyes that occur due to allergic conditions.
X-Mont LC Kid Tablet DT may cause certain side effects in your child such as abdominal pain, headache, cold-like symptoms, or diarrhoea. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your paediatrician. X-Mont LC Kid Tablet DT should be given as advised by your paediatrician. Do not give more than the prescribed dose of this medicine to the child. X-Mont LC Kid Tablet DT can be given with or without food. The dose of the medicine will be decided by your paediatrician depending upon the type and severity of the infection.
X-Mont LC Kid Tablet DT is intended for paediatric use only. Avoid giving X-Mont LC Kid Tablet DT to your child if she/he is allergic to any of the components present in the formulation.
