About Zobra Eye Drops 5ml

Zobra Eye Drops 5ml belongs to the class of aminoglycoside antibiotics. It is used for the treatment of bacterial eye infections. Bacterial eye infection occurs when harmful bacteria invade any eye part, such as the eyeball, conjunctiva, or cornea.

Zobra Eye Drops 5ml contains tobramycin, an antibiotic that works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Thus Zobra Eye Drops 5ml treats bacterial eye infections.

Use Zobra Eye Drops 5ml as prescribed by your doctor. The common side-effects of Zobra Eye Drops 5ml are eye irritation, feeling of having something in the eye, swollen/itchy eyelids, eye redness, increased tearing and inflammation of the cornea (clear front portion of your eye). Most of these side effects fade away gradually over time without the need for medical intervention. However, consult your doctor if you experience these side effects frequently.

Zobra Eye Drops 5ml is for ophthalmic (eye) use only; do not inject or swallow. Eye drops: Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of drops advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.Eye cream/ointment: Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Zobra Eye Drops 5ml contains tobramycin, an antibiotic that works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Thus Zobra Eye Drops 5ml treats bacterial eye infections.

If you mistakenly put too many eye drops or ointment in your eye(s), rinse them promptly with lukewarm water.

Even if your symptoms improve, you must continue to use Zobra Eye Drops 5ml for the indicated treatment period. If you quit using Zobra Eye Drops 5ml abruptly, your symptoms may return.

Use Zobra Eye Drops 5ml only for the duration recommended by your doctor. Do not use it for more than the recommended duration. Inform your doctor if the eye infection does not improve after three days of using Zobra Eye Drops 5ml.

Zobra Eye Drops 5ml can be used with other eye medications if prescribed by the doctor. Maintain a gap of 15 minutes between Zobra Eye Drops 5ml and other eye medications. Use other eye medications first, wait for 15 minutes and then use Zobra Eye Drops 5ml.

Do not wear contact lenses while using Zobra Eye Drops 5ml. Remove contact lenses before using the Zobra Eye Drops 5ml. It is advised to wear spectacles and avoid contact lenses until the infection is cleared.

Zobra Eye Drops 5ml may temporarily blur the vision. Therefore, wait until your vision is clear before driving or operating machinery to prevent any mishappening.
