Do not take Zotewin 50mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform the doctor if you have epilepsy, urinary retention, diabetes, glaucoma, acute gout, Parkinson’s disease, prostate problems, heart, kidney or liver problems. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid consuming alcohol while on treatment with Zotewin 50mg Tablet as it could lead to increased drowsiness. Dry mouth could be a side-effect of Zotewin 50mg Tablet. Limiting caffeine intake, avoiding smoking and mouthwashes containing alcohol, drinking water regularly, and chewing sugar-free gum/candy might help stimulate saliva and thereby prevent drying of the mouth.
Zotewin 50mg Tablet may cause hypotension (low blood pressure). This might cause you to feel faint when you stand up. If you experience this, do not try to stand up suddenly or start walking; instead, lie down and get up slowly only when you feel better. It is advised to monitor blood pressure levels during treatment with Zotewin 50mg Tablet regularly.
