About Aloha XT Tablet 3
Aloha XT Tablet 3 belongs to a class of medications called 'haematinics' primarily used to treat anaemia (lack of blood) that occurs mainly due to poor diet, poor absorption of food, or increased folate use in the body (in pregnancy). Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells for carrying adequate oxygen required to various body tissues.
Aloha XT Tablet 3 is a combination of two drugs: Ferrous ascorbate (iron supplement) and folic acid (a form of vitamin B9). Aloha XT Tablet 3 works by increasing red blood cells (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBC is produced in the body, so that body's each tissue gets sufficient supply of oxygen.
Take Aloha XT Tablet 3 as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, stomach upset or dark coloured stool. Most of these side effects of Aloha XT Tablet 3 do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Aloha XT Tablet 3 or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before using Aloha XT Tablet 3. Although there is a possible interaction between Aloha-XT Tablet 30 's and Carbamazepine, you can take these medicines together if prescribed by your doctor. However, if your condition changes or you experience loss of seizure control, contact your doctor.
Sulfadiazine may decrease the blood levels and effects of Aloha-XT Tablet 30 's.

Although there is a possible interaction between Aloha-XT Tablet 30 's and Sulfadiazine, you can take these medicines together if prescribed by your doctor.
Coadministration of Aloha-XT Tablet 30 's and Fluorouracil may increase the effects of Fluorouracil and increase the risk of serious side effects such as bleeding problems, anaemia (lack of blood), infections, and nerve damage.
How to manage the interaction:
Although there is a possible interaction between Aloha-XT Tablet 30 's and Fluorouracil, you can take these medicines together if prescribed by your doctor. However, if you experience diarrhoea, paleness of skin, severe nausea and vomiting, over-tiredness, dizziness, fainting, blood in the stools, unusual bleeding or bruising, fever, chills, body pains, flu-like symptoms, skin reactions, mouth ulcers or sores, and/or numbness, burning or tingling in your hands and feet, contact your doctor.
Trimethoprim may decrease the blood levels and effects of Aloha-XT Tablet 30 's.

Although there is a possible interaction between Aloha-XT Tablet 30 's and Trimethoprim, you can take these medicines together if prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop using any medications without consulting your doctor.
Co-administration of Aloha-XT Tablet 30 's with Capecitabine may increase the risk of serious side effects such as bleeding problems, anemia, infections, and nerve damage.
How to manage the interaction:
Although there is a possible interaction between Aloha-XT Tablet 30 's and Capecitabine, you can use these medicines together if prescribed by the doctor. However, if you experience paleness of skin, diarrhea, severe nausea and vomiting, over-tiredness, dizziness, fainting, blood in the stools, unusual bleeding or bruising, fever, chills, body aches, flu-like symptoms, skin reactions, mouth ulcers or sores, and/or numbness, burning or tingling sensation in the hands and feet, contact a doctor. Coadministration of Aloha-XT Tablet 30 's and Cholestyramine may interfere with the absorption of Aloha-XT Tablet 30 's.
