About Appavisc HV PFS Ophthalmic Solution 2 ml
Appavisc HV PFS Ophthalmic Solution 2 ml belongs to ophthalmic eye medications used to treat dryness of the eyes. Appavisc HV PFS Ophthalmic Solution 2 ml acts as artificial tears. Also, it is used to lubricate artificial eyes and moisten hard contact lenses. A dry eye is a common condition that occurs when tears are unable to provide sufficient moisture. The symptoms include redness, pain, burning sensation, blurred vision, discomfort in the eye, watery eyes, difficulty reading or sitting in front of the computer for a long time, or eyes getting tired faster than usual.
Appavisc HV PFS Ophthalmic Solution 2 ml contains Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (eye lubricant). Appavisc HV PFS Ophthalmic Solution 2 ml works by forming a lubricating, transparent, and moistening film on the cornea (surface of the eye). Thereby, it provides a soothing effect and relieves irritation and dryness caused by decreased tear flow.
Use Appavisc HV PFS Ophthalmic Solution 2 ml as prescribed by your doctor. Appavisc HV PFS Ophthalmic Solution 2 ml is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Appavisc HV PFS Ophthalmic Solution 2 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Most of these side effects of Appavisc HV PFS Ophthalmic Solution 2 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Appavisc HV PFS Ophthalmic Solution 2 ml or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult a doctor. Avoid using Appavisc HV PFS Ophthalmic Solution 2 ml while you are wearing contact lenses. Drive only if your vision is clear as Appavisc HV PFS Ophthalmic Solution 2 ml may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after applying. If you experience eye pain, headache, changes in vision, continued irritation, or redness of the eye, avoid using Appavisc HV PFS Ophthalmic Solution 2 ml and consult a doctor.
