Aqualube PM Eye Gel 5 gm is used to treat dry eye conditions. It may also be useful for people suffering from recurrent corneal epithelial erosion. A dry eye is a common condition that occurs when the tears are unable to provide adequate lubrication for the eyes.
 
Aqualube PM Eye Gel 5 gm contains liquid paraffin and white soft paraffin that moistens, soothes, and lubricates the eye surface. Thereby providing relief from symptoms of dry eyes such as soreness, gritty sensation, and irritation.
 
In some cases, Aqualube PM Eye Gel 5 gm may cause redness, stinging sensation, and blurred vision. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
 
Talk to your doctor if the irritation persists despite using Aqualube PM Eye Gel 5 gm for 3 days or if it worsens. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Aqualube PM Eye Gel 5 gm if you are allergic to any of its components. Notify your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not touch the tip to the surfaces, eye or eyelid as it may contaminate the contents. Discard the tube after one month of opening.

• Do not wear contact lenses for longer durations.

• If you wear contact lenses: Clean and replace contact lenses more often. Never share contact lenses. Always remember to wash your hands prior to inserting the contact lens. 
• Avoid staring at digital screens for longer durations. Rest your eyes every 20 minutes.
• Blink regularly as it helps spread hydrating substances such as mucus and tears across the eyes.
