Cobanto-Plus Softgel Capsule is a combination medication used in the treatment of neuropathic pain. Neuropathic pain is a chronic progressive nerve disease that causes nerve pain due to damage of sensory nerves. Symptoms include spontaneous, untriggered pain, unpleasant feeling, shooting, burning or stabbing pain, difficulty resting or sleeping and evoked pain (pain caused by events that are usually not painful). Cobanto-Plus Softgel Capsule may be used in the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, drug-induced neuropathy, alcoholic neuropathy, and trigeminal neuralgia.

Cobanto-Plus Softgel Capsule is a combination of four drugs: Alpha-lipoic acid (anti-oxidant), folic acid (vitamin), methylcobalamin and pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6). Methylcobalamin and Pyridoxine hydrochloride help in the rejuvenation and protection of damaged nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin. Alpha-lipoic acid helps in providing a protective effect on the nerve tissues and brain. Folic acid helps in providing essential nutrients to the nerves. Together, Cobanto-Plus Softgel Capsule helps in providing relief from neuropathic pain.

You are advised to take Cobanto-Plus Softgel Capsule for as long as your physician has suggested it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as nausea, headache, vomiting and heartburn. Drug-Food Interactions: Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Cobanto-Plus Softgel Capsule .

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform your physician if you have angioedema, creatine kinase elevations, peripheral oedema, malabsorption and anaemia.

• Rest well, get plenty of sleep.

• In case you miss a dose of Cobanto-Plus Softgel Capsule , skip it and resume when it is time for the second dose only. Do not ever take a double dose.
• It is very difficult to overdose on Cobanto-Plus Softgel Capsule however, if you accidentally take extra doses of Cobanto-Plus Softgel Capsule , please inform your physician or go to a hospital immediately. Some of the common symptoms of an overdose can be nausea, constipation, feeling sick, dizziness, mood changes, loss of appetite and headache.

Neuropathic Pain: Neuropathic pain is caused due to damage sensory nerves. It is caused by chronic progressive nerve disease or due to infection or injury.
