Indigestion/dyspepsia can be defined as the inability to digest food that is associated with pain and discomfort in the stomach. Colimex DF Plus Drops contains Simethicone which belongs to the antiflatulent class of medicine. Simethicone works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating gas expulsion through flatus or belching (burping).

Colimex DF Plus Drops is generally safe to be used in children. It rarely causes side effects such as nausea, diarrhoea and abdominal pain. These effects resolve over time. However, if these side effects worsen or bother your child, please consult your paediatrician. Colimex DF Plus Drops should be given as advised by your doctor. Do not give the child more than the prescribed dose of Colimex DF Plus Drops. Colimex DF Plus Drops can be given with or without food. Your paediatrician will decide the dose of the medicine.
