About Colpep Drops

Colpep Drops belongs to the class of 'digestants', primarily used for treating infant colic pain and griping pain. Colic pain/abdominal pain occurs between the chest and pelvic regions. Pain can be crampy, achy, dull, intermittent, or sharp. Your child can experience generalized symptoms like belching, nausea, and vomiting.

Colpep Drops contains Dimethicone, fennel oil and Dil oil. Dimethicone is an antifoaming medicine that disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy gas passage. In contrast, fennel oil and Dil oil are herbal medicines which help to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines to push food through the digestive system. They also relieve muscle spasms in the gut.

Colpep Drops should be used as suggested by your doctor. Shake the bottle before use. The drops can be mixed with 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of water or another liquid to make administration easier. In some cases, your child may experience certain common side effects, such as constipation, diarrhoea, and intestinal pain. Most of these side effects resolve on their own. If these side effects persist, stop using this medicine and contact your doctor immediately.

Before starting Colpep Drops, please inform your doctor if your child has any allergy to Colpep Drops. Colpep Drops is safe to be used in liver and kidney diseases. However, use this medicine with the doctor's suggested only.
