About Corcell Plus Capsule

Corcell Plus Capsule belongs to the class of 'multivitamins', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss).

Corcell Plus Capsule contains Elemental Calcium, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), Folic acid, and Methylcobalamin. Elemental Calcium makes the bones stronger by increasing their density. It helps in treating and preventing low calcium levels. Pyridoxine is a water-soluble vitamin involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Folic acid helps in producing new blood cells and prevents low folate levels. Methylcobalamin/Vitamin B12 regulates body functions like cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Corcell Plus Capsule may have common side effects like nausea, stomach upset, and diarrhoea. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time.

Let your doctor know if you use any other medicines and herbal products before starting Corcell Plus Capsule . If you are allergic to Corcell Plus Capsule or its inactive components, please inform your doctor. If you are a pregnant or breastfeeding mother, please consult your doctor before taking Corcell Plus Capsule . Corcell Plus Capsule should not be given to children unless advised by a doctor. It is advised to avoid or limit alcohol consumption since it may affect calcium absorption.

Nutritional deficiencies.

Medicinal Benefits

Corcell Plus Capsule is used to treat nutritional deficiencies and contains Elemental Calcium, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), Folic acid, and Methylcobalamin. Elemental Calcium is a mineral used to prevent or treat a calcium deficiency. It provides essential nutrients to maintain bone formation and maintenance. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. It helps in cognitive development through the biosynthesis of neurotransmitters and maintains normal homocysteine levels (an amino acid in the blood). Folic acid helps form red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. It prevents and treats folate deficiency and helps form red blood cells. Methylcobalamin (Mecobalamin/Vitamin B12) regulates body functions like cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. It treats alcoholic and diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage) and pernicious anemia (red blood cells are not produced due to Vitamin B12 deficiency).

Avoid taking more than one multivitamin product concomitantly unless advised by the doctor. Taking similar nutritional supplements simultaneously can lead to a vitamin overdose or other serious side effects.

Antacids may interfere with the absorption of Corcell Plus Capsule . Hence, taking Corcell Plus Capsule two hours before or four hours after taking antacids is advised.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and follow your usual dosage.
