About Endonac Gel
Endonac Gel belongs to the class of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, strain, stiff neck, dislocations, joint pain, lumbago (lower back pain), tendinitis (inflammation of the tendon), and tenosynovitis (inflammation of tendon on the thumb side of the wrist).
Endonac Gel contains aceclofenac which works by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make another chemical prostaglandin. By blocking the effect of COX enzymes, lesser prostaglandins are produced; this helps in reducing mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site.
You are advised to use Endonac Gel for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, Endonac Gel may cause side-effects such as application site reactions like itching, irritation, redness, and burning sensation. You are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
Do not use Endonac Gel if you are allergic to any of its components. Endonac Gel is for external use only. Avoid contact of Endonac Gel with eyes, nose or mouth; if contact occurs, rinse with water thoroughly. Avoid using Endonac Gel on open wounds and irritated skin. Do not cover the treated skin with a bandage unless advised by the doctor. Consult a doctor before using Endonac Gel if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Endonac Gel is not recommended for use in children.
