Fusiwal 2%w/w Ointment 15 gm belongs to the group of medicines called ‘antibiotics’ used to treat bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, infected cuts and abrasions, infected eczema and contact dermatitis. 
 
Fusiwal 2%w/w Ointment 15 gm contains ‘Sodium fusidate’ that works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for the survival of the bacteria. Thereby, Fusiwal 2%w/w Ointment 15 gm helps in treating skin infections.
 
Fusiwal 2%w/w Ointment 15 gm is generally well-tolerated. However, it may cause mild stinging sensation and irritation in some cases. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. If the side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

• If Fusiwal 2%w/w Ointment 15 gm comes in contact with eyes, nose or mouth, rinse with water immediately.
• Wash your hands before and after using Fusiwal 2%w/w Ointment 15 gm; however, do not wash your hands if you are applying Fusiwal 2%w/w Ointment 15 gm on your hands.
