Galto Tablet belongs to the 'digestive enzymes' class, which generally relieves flatulence, bloating, and belching. Flatulence is the movement of gas from the digestive system through the back passage. Bloating is the swelling or sensation of fullness in the belly caused by gas in the stomach and intestines. Belching is the expulsion of extra wind from the mouth into the stomach or upper intestine.

Galto Tablet comprises Alpha Galactosidase. Alpha Galactosidase is a digestive enzyme that breaks down starch into simple sugars to easily digest starch, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Thus it helps relieve the symptoms of flatulence, bloating, and belching.

Use Galto Tablet in the dose and duration recommended by your doctor. Galto Tablet is generally safe to use. However, some may experience side effects like nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. Although not everyone experiences these side effects, please seek medical attention if these effects occur.

• Please take foods rich in probiotics such as yoghurt/curd, kefir, sauerkraut, tempeh, kimchi, miso, kombucha, buttermilk, natto, and cheese.
• Eat fibre-rich foods to promote digestion.
• Avoid eating too much, eating too fast, eating high-fat foods, or eating during stressful situations that can burden your stomach.
• Eating small meals at regular intervals so the stomach does not have to work as hard or as long.
• Smoking can irritate the stomach lining; hence please avoid it.
• Sleep with your head elevated (at least 6 inches) above your feet, and use pillows. This helps digestive juices flow into the intestines rather than the oesophagus.
