About Kinlax Sugar Free Mint Syrup

Kinlax Sugar Free Mint Syrup belongs to the group of medicines called laxatives used to treat constipation. Constipation refers to infrequent bowel movements in which the stools are often dry, painful, and hard to pass.

Kinlax Sugar Free Mint Syrup is a combination of two laxatives (stool softeners), namely: milk of magnesia (osmotic laxative) and liquid paraffin (lubricant). Milk of magnesia works by drawing water into the intestine through osmosis, while liquid paraffin has lubricant properties that help retain water and fat in the stools. Together, they make the stool soft and slippery making it easier to pass.

You can take Kinlax Sugar Free Mint Syrup with or without food. Take the prescribed dose/quantity by mouth using the measuring cup provided by the pack, shake the bottle well before each use. Depending on your medical condition, you are advised to take Kinlax Sugar Free Mint Syrup for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you.
