OMRON HEM 7143T1-A Blood Pressure Monitor is a compact device that measures blood pressure (BP) simply and quickly. OMRON HEM 7143T1-A comes with Intellisense Technology that ensures accurate and comfortable readings every single time. It automatically applies the required amount of pressure and offers a comfortable upper arm BP measurement experience. It provides fast and accurate measurements with the touch of one button. It is in-built with a Hypertension (high blood pressure) indicator and a Cuff wrapping guide lamp. This blood pressure monitor stores the stores 30 measurements in memory with date and time.

Directions for Use

  • Please refer to the user manual for before use.
  • Before measuring, remove tight-fitting clothing or tight rolled-up sleeves from your left upper arm. Do not place the arm cuff over thick garments.
  • Sit on a chair with your legs uncrossed and your feet flat on the floor. Sit upright with your back straight and the back and arm supported.
  • The arm cuff should be placed on your arm at the same level as your heart.
  • Securely insert the air plug into the air jack.
  • Wrap the arm cuff firmly in place around your left upper arm. The bottom edge of the arm cuff should be 1 to 2 cm above the elbow. The air tube should be on the inside of your arm and aligned with your middle finger.
  • Secure closed with the fabric fastener.
  • Press the START/STOP button. The arm cuff will automatically start to inflate and provide the reading after deflation.
  • Remove the arm cuff and press the START/STOP button to turn the monitor off.

  • Do not adjust your medicines based on measurement results from this blood pressure monitor. Take your medication as prescribed by your doctor. Only a doctor is qualified to diagnose and treat high blood pressure.
  • Consult your physician before using the device during pregnancy, including pre-eclampsia, or if diagnosed with arrhythmia or arteriosclerosis. 
  • Do not use the device on the injured arm. 
  • Do not apply the arm cuff on the arm when you are on an intravenous drip or blood transfusion.
