Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray is an antiseptic and disinfectant used to treat sore throat. It also treats and prevents the infections of the lining of the mouth and throat, such as gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) and mouth ulcers. Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray is also used to cleanse the mouth for preparation of the oral mucosa before any injection, dental surgery or tooth extraction. 

Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray contains Povidone iodine. It works by inhibiting the growth of infection-causing microbes. As a small molecule, iodine can easily penetrate microorganisms and oxidizes essential proteins, nucleotides, and fatty acids, leading to cell death. It is effective against bacteria, fungi, viruses, and protozoa.

Use Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray as suggested by a doctor. Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray may cause common side effects like mouth or throat irritation, dryness of mouth and throat, and burning sensation. These side effects gradually resolve during the treatment and do not require medical attention. However, if the side effects persist longer, please seek medical help.

Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray should be used in children under twelve years of age only when the doctor has advised it.

• Drink fluids like hot herbal teas, soups, and broths to help loosen congestion and lubricate the throat.
• Gargle with warm salt water regularly.
• Avoid smoking to prevent further irritation of the throat.
• Use a cool-air humidifier to prevent dry air that can further irritate a sore throat.
• Avoid caffeine and alcohol to prevent further dryness of the throat. 

Sore throat: It is the pain and irritation in the throat that worsens with swallowing. It causes dryness and scratchiness in the throat. It is often caused by a viral infection, cold or flu. Symptoms of a sore throat include pain, dryness and scratchiness in the throat, difficulty in swallowing, swollen and red tonsils, hoarse voice, and sore and swollen glands in the neck and jaw.
