Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray 50 ml

Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray is an antiseptic and disinfectant used to treat sore throat. It also treats and prevents the infections of the lining of the mouth and throat, such as gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) and mouth ulcers. Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray is also used to cleanse the mouth for preparation of the oral mucosa before any injection, dental surgery or tooth extraction. 

Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray contains Povidone iodine. It works by inhibiting the growth of infection-causing microbes. As a small molecule, iodine can easily penetrate microorganisms and oxidizes essential proteins, nucleotides, and fatty acids, leading to cell death. It is effective against bacteria, fungi, viruses, and protozoa.

Use Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray as suggested by a doctor. Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray may cause common side effects like mouth or throat irritation, dryness of mouth and throat, and burning sensation. These side effects gradually resolve during the treatment and do not require medical attention. However, if the side effects persist longer, please seek medical help.

Brief your medical history to the doctor if you are allergic to iodine or povidone. Let your doctor know if you have thyroid diseases, liver, and kidney problems before starting Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray. Please tell your doctor if you are undergoing any lithium therapy or treatment involving radioactive iodine. Do not use Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray before or after radioiodine scintigraphy or radioiodine treatment of thyroid carcinoma. Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or are a lactating mother.

Do not use Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray if you are allergic to povidone-iodine. Let your doctor know if you have an overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism) or any other thyroid diseases (nodular colloid goitre, endemic goitre or Hashimoto’s thyroiditis), liver, or kidney problems. Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or are a lactating mother before using Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray. Oroclear 0.5% Mint Flavour Mouth Spray should be used in children under twelve years of age only when the doctor has advised it.

• Eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly to strengthen your breathing muscles and boost your immune system.
• Drink fluids like hot herbal teas, soups, and broths to help loosen congestion and lubricate the throat.
• Gargle with warm salt water regularly.
• Avoid smoking to prevent further irritation of the throat.
• Use a cool-air humidifier to prevent dry air that can further irritate a sore throat.
• Avoid caffeine and alcohol to prevent further dryness of the throat.
