About Ovafem Plus Tablet

Ovafem Plus Tablet is a combination drug that includes an endogenous steroid hormone and a nutritional supplement. It is used to treat female infertility. Female infertility occurs when a woman cannot become pregnant after a year of trying. Infertility also includes a woman being pregnant but having miscarriages or stillbirths.

Ovafem Plus Tablet contains Dehydroepiandrosterone and Coenzyme Q10. Ovafem Plus Tablet works by increasing the likelihood of conception by controlling the ovulation process (release of eggs from the ovary). It promotes healthy egg cell production, improves egg quality and pregnancy rates. Ovafem Plus Tablet is also a potent antioxidant and is useful in promoting overall health, nutrition, and well-being.

Take Ovafem Plus Tablet as prescribed. Ovafem Plus Tablet may cause certain common side effects including headache, dizziness, insomnia, fatigue, irritability, nausea, and heartburn. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if these side effects persist.

Do not use Ovafem Plus Tablet without doctor advice if you had a skin reaction or irritation to any medicine. Taking Ovafem Plus Tablet with Mipomersen may increase the risk of liver damage.

How to manage the interaction:
Although there is a possible interaction between Ovafem Plus Tablet and Mipomersen, you can take these medicines together if prescribed by a doctor. However, if you have any of the following symptoms: fever, chills, joint pain or swelling, unusual bleeding or bruising, skin rash, itching, fatigue, lack of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dark urine, light stools, and/or yellowing of the skin or eyes, consult a doctor immediately. Do not stop using any medications without talking to a doctor.
How does the drug interact with Ovafem Plus Tablet:
Co-administration of Ketoconazole and Ovafem Plus Tablet may increase the risk of liver damage.

How to manage the interaction:
Although taking Ketoconazole and Ovafem Plus Tablet together can result in an interaction, it can be taken if a doctor has prescribed it. However, if you experience fever, chills, joint pain or swelling, unusual bleeding or bruising, skin rash, itching, less desire to eat, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or yellowing of the skin or eyes, contact a doctor immediately. Do not discontinue any medications without consulting a doctor.

Taking Ovafem Plus Tablet with Carfilzomib can increase the risk of clotting.

However, if you experience sudden loss of eyesight, chest pain, breathing difficulties, coughing up blood, pain, redness, or swelling in an arm or leg, and numbness or weakness on one side of the body, consult a doctor, immediately. Taking Ovafem Plus Tablet with Teriflunomide may increase the risk of liver damage.
