Redulid HB Capsule 10's belongs to a class of medications called 'haematinics' primarily used to treat anemia (lack of blood) that occurs due to iron deficiency and chronic kidney disease. Also, Redulid HB Capsule 10's is used to treat anaemia during pregnancy and lactation. Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells to carry the adequate oxygen required to various body tissues.
Redulid HB Capsule 10's is a combination of three drugs, namely: Elemental iron, folic acid (a form of vitamin B9) and Glycine (amino acid). Elemental iron and folic acid work by increasing red blood cells (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBCs are produced in the body, so that body's each tissue gets a sufficient supply of oxygen. Glycine is an amino acid that is used to synthesize proteins in the body.
Take Redulid HB Capsule 10's as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, stomach upset or dark-coloured stool. Most of these side effects of Redulid HB Capsule 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Redulid HB Capsule 10's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before using Redulid HB Capsule 10's. Redulid HB Capsule 10's should be used with caution in children and only if recommended by a doctor. You are recommended to avoid alcohol consumption with Redulid HB Capsule 10's as it may reduce the absorption of Redulid HB Capsule 10's.
