About Rhine Nasal Drop

Rhine Nasal Drop belongs to the group of medicines called nasal medications used to treat nasal congestion/ stuffy nose, nasal irritation, and dryness of the nasal passages associated with the common cold, flu, pollutants or allergies. Rhine Nasal Drop may also be used as a pre-treatment for nasal steroid administration.

Rhine Nasal Drop contains ‘Sodium Chloride’, an isotonic salt solution that moisturises the nose, and helps loosen, soften, and dissolve crusty or thick mucus. Thereby providing relief from stuffiness and making breathing easier. 

Use Rhine Nasal Drop as advised. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as cough, sneezing, abnormal taste, and stinging sensation in the nose. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Rhine Nasal Drop is for nasal use only; do not consume it. Let your doctor know if you are allergic to any of the contents in Rhine Nasal Drop. Consult your doctor before using Rhine Nasal Drop if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Rhine Nasal Drop should be used in children only if advised by the doctor. To prevent contamination, avoid touching the tip of the container.

Uses of Rhine Nasal Drop

Nasal congestion and dryness of the nasal passages

Directions for Use

Nasal squirt bottle/Nasal pump: Insert the nozzle into the nostril. Press the nozzle as long as necessary, allowing the excess solution to trickle down. Clean your nose after one 1minute and repeat the process if necessary. Shake well before use.Nasal spray: Insert the tip of the bottle into a nostril while closing the other nostril and spray towards the sides of the nostril. Keep your head straight and breathe gently. Repeat the same process for other nostril. Nasal drops: Tilt your head back while sitting on a chair or lying down. Hold the dropper over the affected nostril and instil the number of drops advised. Keep your head tilted for a few minutes.
