Scabiwon Cream 30 gm is a combination medicine used to provide relief from inflammation and itching associated with allergic or irritant contact dermatitis, mild to moderate eczema (itchy, cracked, swollen or rough skin), and insect bite reactions. Also, it is used in the treatment of scabies. Dermatitis is a common skin condition associated with dry, itchy, or swollen skin. Eczema is a skin condition that causes itchy, cracked, swollen, or rough skin.

Scabiwon Cream 30 gm contains Crotamiton and Hydrocortisone. Crotamiton is a scabicide and antipruritic agent which works by killing mites (tiny insects) and their eggs. Hydrocortisone is a steroid that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibiting the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. 

Use Scabiwon Cream 30 gm as prescribed. You are advised to use Scabiwon Cream 30 gm for as long as your doctor has recommended it based on your medical condition. Scabiwon Cream 30 gm is usually safe when used in the correct amount for the prescribed time. However, if you experience any side effects while using Scabiwon Cream 30 gm, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Crotamiton, Hydrocortisone or any other ingredients, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to inform your doctor before using Scabiwon Cream 30 gm. Do not use Scabiwon Cream 30 gm in children under 10 years of age except under medical supervision. Do not apply Scabiwon Cream 30 gm on exudative wounds (fluid comes out of a wound), ulcerated areas, or broken or very inflamed skin. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as the fabric (bedding, clothing, dressings) that is in contact with Scabiwon Cream 30 gm catches fire and burns easily.

Do not apply Scabiwon Cream 30 gm on exudative wounds (fluid comes out of a wound), ulcerated areas, or broken or very inflamed skin. • Eat foods rich in quercetin (a flavonoid), such as apples, cherries, broccoli, spinach and blueberries.
• Consuming food rich in probiotics helps in developing the immune system against allergies.
• Limit intake of food that might trigger allergies, such as dairy products, soy, eggs, and nuts.
• Avoid consuming foods with excess sugar, as it may flare up inflammation.
• Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and fish in your diet.
• Reducing stress and maintaining a regular sleep pattern would be helpful.
• Avoid getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents, and rough fabrics.

Dermatitis: It is a common skin condition associated with dry, itchy, or swollen skin. Irritant contact dermatitis is the skin inflammation that occurs due to contact with irritants such as soap, detergents, perfumes, solvents, acids, cement, dust, soil, etc. Symptoms include blistering, cracking skin due to extreme dryness, ulcerations, and open sores that form crusts. Allergic contact dermatitis occurs when the skin develops an allergic reaction when exposed to a foreign substance. Symptoms include dry, scaly, flaky skin, hives, extreme itching, sun sensitivity, and darkened or leathery skin.

Eczema: It is a skin condition that causes itchy, cracked, swollen, or rough skin.

Scabies: It is a skin condition caused by mites known as Sarcoptes scabiei. It causes an itchy skin rash and is contagious (spreads from one person to another person).
