Sebogel contains Salicylic acid and Nicotinamide. Salicylic acid is a keratolytic agent that works by breaking down a protein known as keratin (that forms part of skin structure) and removes dead skin cells and softens skin. Also, it opens closed skin pores. Nicotinamide possesses anti-inflammatory properties. Thus, it helps to reduce inflammation caused by acne and also reduces sebum (skin’s natural oil).
